TITLE I - Early Childhood (Zero to Five)

Santillana PD courses: Early ChildhoodARRA funding for Title I, Early Childhood emphasizes the need for critical support for young children and their parents. Research indicates that the road to academic success starts before first grade. Santillana PD offers much-needed learning opportunities for teachers of programs that serve this population, such as Early Start, Head Start, and Pre-K, as well as the parents of the children served by these programs that help address the unique needs of infants and toddlers.

Parents of small children need guidance to help them implement “zero to five” best practices. This session helps parents discover children’s full potential and focus on the special challenges and developmental traits of children of different age groups (babies, toddlers, preschool). Parents also learn about a variety of topics and issues affecting children such as nutrition, behavior, ADD/ADHD, and others.
